Ali Khodaei is one of the most astute Product Managers in the corporate world. Throughout his impressive career, Ali has showcased exemplary expertise social search, user profiling, geospatial data, social data analysis, spatiotemporal data, search and information retrieval, and social advertisement among others. Ali has worked at prominent corporations including  Yahoo, LinkedIn, GraphDive and Facebook. Currently, he is working as a Product Manager at Facebook, a position that he has held for almost two years. Prior to that, Ali worked at LinkedIn where he was Principal Product Manager, and Senior Product Manager. In these roles, his duties included overseeing tech teams tasked with feed relevance and content recommendations. At Yahoo, Ali worked as a Senior Product Manager, a role that put him in charge of several product management roles including product personalization and contextual analysis. At GraphDive, Ali worked as a Director of Product Management before rising to become the company's VP in charge of Data Science and Product Management. Apart from the corporate world, Khodaei has also worked in the academic field. While pursuing his doctorate in computer science at the University of Southern California, he worked in the institution as a teaching assistant and a research assistant. Early in his career, Khodaei had worked as a research programmer at the institution's Viterbi School of Engineering. Khodaei has also had stints at Microsoft, Samsung Electronics, VE Systems, and the California Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology. At Microsoft, he worked as the Program Manager in charge of the Greater Seattle Area before moving to Sunnyvale, CA. At Samsung, Khodaei worked as an application engineer stationed at the corporation's outpost in Irvine, CA. His role at VESystems included database design, development, and administration. During his time there he played a significant role in the redesign and remodelling of the company's database.
