Deepak Paramanand

Deepak is a thoughtful Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, whose professional career spanned over 15 years. Before transitioning to a Product Manager, he was a Business Intelligence focused engineer in a wide variety of business applications. Upon graduation, Deepak began his professional career as a Software Engineer at FCI Connectors. Today, as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, his main responsibilities include shipping Microsoft Puppets on Android, Microsoft's answer to Apple Animoji. His main area of expertise includes Statistical Data Analysis using R, however, on top of being excellent in BI applications, he is also highly competent at Data Warehousing and Agile Methodologies. During his lucrative career, he has worked on Informatica, BO, Pentaho and has always been interested in designing stable, cost-effective and scalable BI solutions. Deepak’s subject matter expertise in data and analytics is described as being by his colleagues as an incredible asset to leverage in client and business development interactions. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. An avid speaker, Deepak has been a part of Digital Media Team at TED Conferences and a Guest Lecturer at Rutgers Business School.
