Russell Harris

As a Software Engineer that transitioned to Product Management, Russell can easily bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical. He is currently working as a Lead Product Manager at Carvana. His career has revolved around technology startups where he has built products with the primary objective of solving business problems through the use of technology. As a Lead Product Manager, Russel is responsible for the Market, Retail Operations and Internal Mobile Applications at Carvana. He led cross-functional teams of Product Managers and Software Engineers focused on developing scalable technology for Carvana’s retail operations. They also built, managed and scaled custom point of sale mobile application from concept to over $3.5b in annual payment processing. In parallel with that experience, he also founded Startup Pittsburgh, the hub for startup activity in Pittsburgh which worked as the connection between universities, entrepreneurs and investors. Prior to that, Russel worked as a Director of Operations at ROIcode, which is a technology consulting firm of entrepreneurs and engineers who attack your industry as a startup and help you get new digital products to market, quickly.
