Shira Weinberg Harel

Shira is a born Product Manager with a strong knowledge of software development from her 15 years of experience working in the software industry. She is a Product Leader at Microsoft where she is working on their digital assistant, Cortana. Before this, she spent over 10 years as a Senior Product Manager building various web and mobile applications for the company. She worked closely with the development team, UX designers, and oversees groups without a hitch. She started out with the company as a Software Engineer before that.

She is also a Co-Founder of LeadWith, a non-profit that empowers and promotes women in tech. Shira began working on this cause during her time as Co-Managing Director for the global non-profit Girls in Tech. She also volunteered her time as a Mentor for Junior Achievement, where she led and mentored a group of 15-year old entrepreneurs through a competition in which they worked on the entire lifecycle of their product. Her team came in 2nd place at the Israeli competition.

Shira is a well-rounded PM having earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Marketing. She describes herself as a people person who loves a good challenge. Her goal is to make users' lives better by continuing to create amazing products for them.
