Product Manager, Snap! Raise
Allison is a Product Manager at Snap! Raise, where her mission is to support youth coaches and educators in their goal to empower the leaders of tomorrow. After completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Crop Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Allison started off her professional career
as a secondary education teacher in biology and chemistry. She progressively attained other teacher positions in physics, physical science along with becoming a private tutor. Shortly after, she has graduated from University of New Orleans with a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, broke into Product and took up a role as a Software Engineer followed by Senior Technical Product Manager at GE Digital. Her responsibilities included performing quality assurance testing, managing testing environment as well as collaborating with engineering team to ensure development focus on highest priority features. Today, as a Product Manager at Snap! Raise, Allison establishes clear product direction based on customer usage metrics, market research, support trends. Moreover, Allison has been awarded many certifications; she is certified in Agile Coaching, as a ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner, and she has been awarded “Top ACT Teacher” by the Princeton Review. An avid speaker, Allison also enjoys speaking with a wider audience about her lucrative career.
