Ash’s specialties and interests are scaling Products to 10x value, Conversational AI systems, Personal Data and Monetization, Blockchains and Payments, and creating high-performance organizations.He's just joined Amazon as Sr Product Manager. Previously, Ash was the Chief Product Officer at a Blockchain startup called Friday Night Labs, taking Product from back-of-the-napkin to market validation, building a team, and pitching to investors. Ash reimagined online apps with a novel Blockchain-based architecture for highly efficient monetization and user privacy-by-design. Friday Night Labs earned acceptance into UC Berkeley’s highly selective startup accelerator (SkyDeck). Prior to his current role, Ash was a Director of Product Management at Motorola Mobility (a Google Company), where he built the world's first online service for user-customized smart devices (smartphones and wearables) scaling a new business to $100M ARR across US, Europe, Brazil, China, and India. Ash began his career as a Technology Consultant at Accenture, winning $5M in new engagements for mobility-focused (Laptop and Blackberry) Enterprise Sales and CRM B2B solutions to Fortune 100 businesses, from Financial Services to Media, as part of Accenture's SAP practice. Shortly after, he became a Senior Product Manager at Yahoo!, being the Product Leader for Yahoo's largest Mobile apps and entity search/knowledge graph systems, scaling from scratch to 40M highly monetized MAUs across iOS, Android, and mobile Web. Notably, he created the Yahoo! Knowledge Graph (Big Data product) to power intelligent search applications, lifting relevant PVs and engagement metrics 20%. Ash was recognized by the CEO with the Yahoo! Superstar team award for leading high-value initiatives.
