Senior Product Manager, Thumbtack

Campbell has spent most of his career working in product. Whether he was a Product Manager or founding a startup, he has been immersed in the act of creating products people want and love. 

At the moment he is a Senior Product Manager at Thumbtack. His previous company, Setter, was acquired by Thumbtack, prompting his move. At Setter he built out a new payment system and Setter’s home hub. Before that he worked as a Product Manager for Sensibill in the fintech space. He owned accessibility, their alpha experimentation product and lead other scaling initiatives. He has also been a Product Consultant and Senior Product Manager at Clean My Office Space and ChoiceMaker, respectively.

Additionally, Campbell has a strong entrepreneurial career history. He started up in the Entrepreneur Development Program at Upstart Business Incubator where he worked hands-on with startups on their strategy, marketing, and customer development. He then went on to co-found BookRenter NZ, New Zealand’s first textbook rental company, where he led the product and operations with his team of 15. After that, he founded and worked as Managing Director of Lifepac. Finally, he was a founding CEO of GarageCampus, an e-learning platform that helped local teachers reach a wider audience.

Those who have the pleasure of working alongside Campbell have nothing but great things to say about his dedication and skills. He truly cares about building amazing products and will do whatever it takes to achieve this goal, going above and beyond whenever necessary. He digs down deep to the root of any problem to solve it for both his customers and stakeholders.

Campbell attended the University of Otago where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce as a Finance major. He then continued his education there earning a Post Grad Diploma in Entrepreneurship.
