Product Manager, Citizen
Darrell is a seasoned Product professional, currently building the future of urban safety as the Product Manager for the Citizen core experience. During the 7 years of his professional career, his work has taken him across the US to support various ventures in sectors ranging from Consultancy, Consumer Electronics, Software,
and Logistics. He began his professional career as a Strategy & Operations Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, a position he has held for 1 year. Shortly after, he took up the role as Global Supply Manager at Apple, where he managed strategic supplier relationships, with responsibilities including price negotiations and supply forecasting. Before driving the company’s efforts at Citizen to promote its mission to “Protect the World”, he spent over 4 years progressively attaining higher managerial roles and eventually first broke into Product. Under his leadership, the Driver Platform team, successfully re-designed the Driver app and defined the future of on-demand employment. In addition to his quick adoption of a wide set of analytical tools, Darrell’s other areas of expertise include Market Analysis, Data Visualization, and Product Design. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & English cum laude from Wake Forest University. An avid speaker, Darrell enjoys sharing his experiences in Ops and Product to aspiring Product Managers.
