Darshan Raju S

Darshan is a Senior Product Manager leading subscriptions and recurring payment products at PayPal. He works every day on strategy, research, analysis, roadmap, design, and solutions with a variety of stakeholders to launch world-class merchant and consumer products together.

Before his more than three years with PayPal, he worked as a Merchant and Demand Portfolio Lead for Runnr, a hyper-local delivery startup, which was later acquired by Zommato. In this role, he led integrations with big names like FreshMenu, Dominos, and Google Aero while revamping the payments and merchant accounting systems.

He also founded the company CheersToWork, a co-working platform that set up a working relationship for freelancers and entrepreneurs with cafes, restaurants, and lounges in popular locations. Before that he worked for five and a half years at Cisco as a Software and Applications Engineer for enterprise, mobility, and IoT solutions.

Darshan attended the PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore for his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He is also a Certified ScrumMaster and Cisco Certified Network Associate. He also spent a year volunteering at the Startup Leadership Program Cohort in Bangalore as a Fellow.

He has been described as a go-getter who has a unique ability to get involved in any kind of new project with little ramp-up needed. He is great at exploring new technologies and engaging with customers, especially understanding their needs and working with them on the best possible solution that pleases everyone.
