Dev Iyer

Dev is an Product Manager and effective communicator with a self-starter attitude. He builds Products that solve human problems with teams of passionate people and he experience includes working in Tech (early to late stage), Venture Capital, and the Federal Government. Currently, Dev is a Senior Product Manager at Twitch, working with a super talented, passionate team to build innovative products for the Twitch community. Prior to Dev’s current role, he was Senior Product Manager of Growth at SoundCloud, focusing on new user onboarding and listener retention (personalization, recommendations, notifications), working with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Design, and UXR; and being the platform owner for SoundCloud's growth automation tools and its infrastructure-related decisions. Dev began his career as an Analyst working at Formation 8, where he worked on due diligence of 25+ Seed/Series A pitches and quantitatively analyzed missed investment opportunities using multiple financial datasets. Notably, he founded TEDxUGA along with an amazing team of students, faculty, and alumni. They were awarded the university's 'Most Outstanding New Organization' in May 2013. TEDxUGA became institutionalized and is now a cornerstone of student & alumni innovation at UG. Dev was also Cofounder/Partner of Escape the Routine, pushing the boundaries of experiential events, production technology, and artist talent. Since 2015, they’ve hosted more than 30 events with 3000 unique attendees in SF and NYC while building a community of amazing people. Dev has a Bachelor’s in International Political Economics from the the University of Georgia.
