Erwin Chan

Erwin is a Recruiting Manager at Binc, a hybrid recruiting/consulting organization that supports technology companies with recruiting needs and has worked with some of the top startups. He is currently working with Discovery on technical roles to support their fast-growing Direct to Consumer business. Prior to Binc, he was a Recruiting Manager at Amazon, leading a team supporting all non-SDE technical roles for the Advertising team, helping grow a recruiting organization from 10 people to 115 in 5 years. Erwin first gained experience as a Recruiter working at Microsoft University Recruiting, where he worked mostly with MBA candidates recruiting for product, finance, sales, and operation roles while developing direct relationships with top MBA schools. Prior to that, he was a Product Manager and Marketing Manager for Microsoft Learning. Among his work, he help start up his organization's social media and community strategy and was part of a team that won a Marketing Innovation Award across Microsoft. Erwin graduated from Brown University with a degree in Computer Engineering and worked at a software consultancy for three years as a software developer, before attending Duke University, Fuqua School of Business to obtain his MBA.
