Farhaz Karmali

Farhaz is a technical and data-driven Product Manager who loves to dig in deep and understand things at a code level. He is currently building out awesome communication and collaboration experiences in Microsoft Teams as a Product Lead. Farhaz comes from a background in engineering and after earning his Dual Bachelor Degree in Software and Electrical Engineering he held positions as Technical Infrastructure Analyst at Goldman Sachs, System Performance Engineer at Verizon and Senior Android Developer at UDA Technologies. These experiences provided him excellent technical skills, becoming a fast problem solver. Farhaz eventually moved to a Product Management position at Microsoft, where he has been progressively attaining higher managerial positions. He is responsible for relevant projects in the company as the reduction of Azure operational labor by 150% via deployment and adoption of automated hardware diagnostics across multiple Microsoft properties. He also led the team building E2E experiences for ambient computing around the home.
