Product Manager, Twilio
Harshal deeply loves to understand customer needs, lead cross-functional initiatives, and blend creative and systematic approaches to tackle ambiguous business challenges. These qualities have helped him enjoy his experiences across Product Management, engineering, and nonprofit volunteering leadership. Currently, he is a Product Manager at Twilio, he is responsible for the research of
customer needs, using data to inform decisions, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver products that customers love. Before Twilio, Harshal worked in Product Management at Cisco, Senergy, and TeleSign. At Cisco, he established a strategy to implement Machine Learning in a SaaS product. At Senergy, Harshal led a product roadmap that increased customer retention. Finally at TeleSign, he worked on pricing models and business strategy. During his MBA at UCLA Anderson, Harshal focused on general management, soft-skills, and entrepreneurship. Key highlights for him were creating and leading a design-thinking series for 52 members, working on 3 startups in the Venture Accelerator, and mentoring 11 students for a career switch. Moreover, as a musician and with nonprofit leadership experience in India, the US, and Ireland, his pursuits are also driven by a dash of creativity and a ton of passion for creating an impact at the grassroots.
