Julia Nechaieva

Julia is a Product Leader with 12 years of experience in Product Development, 9 of them as a people manager;  focusing on 2-sided platforms. She’s passionate about entertainment, creativity, education, urbanism, culture, human interactions, and people development. Julia is great at building high-performance teams by aligning individual people’s values with business/product KPIs. Currently, she’s a Product Manager at Youtube, overseeing Live Creation. Prior to her current role, Julia was a Product Manager at Google, building new 1P/3P verticals for the Google Assistant. She began her career as Software Test Engineering Manager at NIX, where she managed a team of 5 test engineers, led testing of >35 software updates for Thomson Reuters software products and expanded new-hire pipeline by 40% by launching and leading an educational program on Software Testing in collaboration with top local universities. After nearly 3 years, Julia went to work at Innova Distribution, starting our as a Director of Product Quality, establishing the Product Quality program for in-house development of a high-load game publishing platform. Then, she transitioned into a Lead Product Manager role, launching the company’s first in-house developed online game for children into Public Beta Testing. Julia has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. Notably, she has given more than 10 tech talks for 300+ people audiences, won 3 Best Speaker Awards, translated and published "How Google Tests Software" book., and launched two corporate education and internship programs.
