Karan Mathur

Karan is a Stanford graduate from the St. Louis area inspired to create, design, and ship thoughtful products. Currently, he’s a Product Manager at YouTube, providing product-way support for the introduction of copyright content and copyright performance and driving relevant business development with data, collecting data feedback, and constantly improving relevant data content. Additionally, Karan systematically builds a management backend to monitor and manage music content. Prior to his current role, he was a Product Manager at Intuit, where he synthesized quantitative and qualitative product data, studied the market and competitors, and interviewed dozens of QuickBooks customers to create the team’s strategic roadmap for the fiscal year within 1 month of onboarding. Karan also drove product requirements and worked with engineering and design to ship new first-time use invoice experience, doubling new user invoice send rate, and managed invoice platform on iOS & Android across 3 teams with >30 people. He has a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems & Human-Computer Interaction from Stanford University. Karan’s Symbolic Systems degree allowed him to take a holistic approach to how we interact with humans and technology by integrating Cognitive and Computer Science.
