Kylan Nieh

Kylan is a Product Manager aspiring to use his knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial energy as a platform to better the lives of others. Currently, he’s a Product Manager at LinkedIn, and through time has overseen various parts of the company such as Data Products, Marketing Solutions Products, Career Products, and Profile and Identify. Kylan has led a team of Engineers, Data Scientists, Web Developers, UX Designers, and QA to increase member value and product innovation, also, integrated between DataSift and LinkedIn to create LinkedIn Engagement Insights, collaborating across 20+ cross-functional teams, conceptualized, built, and launched Resume Assistant, one of the first & largest product integrations between Microsoft and LinkedIn, and leading teams and products that empower members to best represent their professional identity on their pages. Prior to working at LinkedIn, Kylan was Founder & CEO of SLI, a company that coaches and mentors high school students in developing confidence and mastering skills in public speaking, leadership, and communication. He got his start in Product Management working at Dell EMC, where he led various projects preparing for the release of D2, a newly acquired product from the Information Intelligence Group division of EMC and created a platform to communicate key product benefits, tricks, tips, and capabilities to prospects, customers, and internal EMC audiences. Kylan’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
