Marissa Zhang

Marissa is currently leading the video creation strategy for Microsoft 365 as the owning Product Manager for Stream Camera. She has been leading the product from its beginnings. As a true Product Leader, she is also heavily involved with the team's culture initiatives, working to develop the company's cultural values by running a quarterly survey to ensure that the entire team is staying happy and successful. She started out with the company working on the Windows Native Video editor, shipping a total of 11 video edit features to address the education customer needs. She also worked on prioritizing accessibility in the feature development and design process.

She also worked with Microsoft as a Product Manager Intern working on a key troubleshooting feature in the Windows Feedback Hub. She also interned with the company the previous year working on how to gamify the Windows Insider Program. Between those two positions, she spent time as a Business Technology Analyst Intern for Deloitte Digital. She was a UX Designer and Front End Developer who provided consulting services to various major companies.

Marissa kicked off her educational background at Shad Valley Laval, a four-week summer enrichment program for those who want to challenge themselves in the field of STEM and learn more about entrepreneurship. After completing the program she went on to the University of Toronto for her Bachelor of Applied Science. She majored in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. She earned impressive marks and ended up graduating with a 3.8 GPA.
