VP of Product, Hotjar
Megan Murphy is a product professional who has led product teams in San Francisco, Brazil, China, and Spain. She is currently the VP of Product at Hotjar. Prior to her current role, she was Head of Product at N26. She has managed portfolios of products with millions of monthly active
users, as well as shipped MVPs from concept to launch for young startups in pursuit of product-market fit on their first funding round. Alongside founders and executive teams, she builds a vision and narrative, and then breaks it down into meaningful work for the product, tech, data science, design, and research teams she manages. As the Head of Product, she focused on monetization across two product portfolios at N26 - a Series D Fintech company with a $3.5billion valuation. Within her remit are the products that contribute direct revenue to N26, including all finance products: Credit, Insurance, and Savings, as well as the full membership product ladder. Megan believes that great product managers are relentlessly curious about the needs and problems of their customers, can articulate the ones worth solving based on business objectives, and trust and equip their teammates to build game-changing solutions.
