Nikunj Somaiya

Nikunj is a founder turned Director of Product (Mobile, Growth, Travel, FinTech, SaaS). He was Product Manager of Hotwire's first Mobile App and founded its first Growth team. He was Product Manager of Hotwire's first Mobile App and founded its first Growth team. Along the way, Nikiunj’s learned how to be an agent of change and what it takes to be a great manager. Currently, he’s a Product Advisor at Seed & Pre-seed Startups, helping startups (stealth & seed) with discovery and Product Strategy, Roadmaps, Market Research, User Journeys, and Lean Canvas. Prior to his current role, Nikunj worked at Hotwire in various roles during his 8 years there. He began as a Product Manager, doubling Hotwire's media revenue by launching 3 new media products, introducing segmentation, improving the intelligence of media targeting. Soon after, Nikunj became a Senior Product Manager, launching Hotwire's award-winning iPhone App, then became a Lead Product Manager; championing the growth of Mobile Apps at Hotwire and overseeing the launch of iPad and Android Apps.  His most recent role at Hotwire was a Senior Director of Product, leading the revamp of Hotwire’s core Hotel and Car products, which unlocked efficient new user acquisition, significantly increased our inventory, and improved retention.
