He has 10+ years of Software Development and Product
Management experience and has managed several products at Microsoft, 7, and Bill.com from concept to launch. Pankaj holds 9 patents and has been consistently recognized with multiple awards for his leadership skills and excellent track record of delivering strong results. He started out his career working at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where he contributed to revamping security features in SQL Server as part of a 2 Billion USD trustworthy computing initiative in Microsoft. Pankaj was then promoted to Senior Software Development Engineer, designing and building industry-leading Information Protection and Rights Management technologies for Windows Platforms, and leading an 8 person team responsible for designing and building industry-leading rights management services (RMS) technology used by enterprises to secure confidential email and documents. The last role he had at Microsoft was Senior Program Manager, managing a 12 person team building a cloud-based interactive voice response (IVR) platform used by several Fortune 500 clients to reduce customer care costs and improve customer experience. Pankaj holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
