Preet Anand

Preet Anand is a Product Lead at Lyft where he Founded Safety & Risk technology for Lyft as the first dedicated technology hire. Prior to his current role, he was the Co-Owner and President at Snug, a friendly check-in service for seniors living alone. He held multiple positions in Product, Preet was a Growth and Product Consultant at Udacity, Director of Product at Rocket Speed, Lead Product Manager at Zynga, and much more. He was also the Founder and CEO of Patronus, a company that brought personal safety into the digital age and made 911 calls smarter to save lives. The company was later sold to RapidSOS which now powers emergency calling for both Apple and Uber. Preet is particularly interested in ventures where digital technology and fundamental services intersect. His particular skill set is applying technology in complex, large-scale environments to enhance safety, mitigate risk, and enable better outcomes.
