He is an influential leader that innovates by creating change agents. He is also a people person with strong conversational skills that help him build trust and handle any issues within the team with ease. He turns strategy into action and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.
He is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon focused on WW Benchmarking and Solutions. The team he leads owns the gated Amazon Product and Process Design System that guides teams into developing the solutions and improvements they need to scale globally. He previously worked with the company as a Senior Program Manager, working on Industrial Design and Program Management.
Before his current role, he spent an impressive 11 years at Boeing. He started out as an Industrial Engineer and was promoted various times, finishing out his time there as a Senior Product Manager and Process Engineer. He spent significant time working on their enterprise Boeing Management System and Digital Transformation initiatives. He also spent a year as an Industrial Engineering Intern at UPS.
Richard studied Industrial Engineering and Management Systems during his Bachelor's from the University of Central Florida. He later would go on to study Technology Management for his MBA from the University of Washington. He is a SAFe 4 Certified Practitioner and certified Project Management Professional. He also holds a Digital Transformation Certificate from MIT Professional Education.
