Head of Growth, Riva
Sarah Kim is the Head of Growth and Partnerships at Riva, a mission-driven startup using technology to tackle wage inequality--one salary negotiation at a time.
With a passion for social impact, Sarah has dedicated most of her professional life to tackling big social issues through technology and innovation, including financial inclusion, education, renewable energy, and sustainable food.
Previously, Sarah led digital marketing at YI Technology, a global consumer electronics brand, and at Oportun, a leading fintech lender to the underbanked community. Prior to that, Sarah led growth through partnerships as part of SolarCity’s pre-IPO marketing team. Last year, Sarah taught digital marketing at the UC Berkeley International Diploma Program, where she was a highly rated instructor.
Sarah received an MBA from Wharton and a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University. In her free time, she works on one of her 5 languages while advising startups, organizing Meetups, and learning new skills (at the Product School, of course).
