Shylesh is a successful Manager with global leadership experience, who has worked in Product Management, Technology Strategy, and Business Development. He is currently a Director of Product Management at ENGIE Insight, where he leads a product team that delivers a wide range of solutions in Energy Intelligence Services. There he can
use his wide set of skills, great capability to learn and drive for success to enable the implementation of effective products for ENGIE. Before breaking into Product, Shylesh studied Mechanical Engineering Pondicherry University and worked as a Senior Product Engineer at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. He then took on several Management positions before studying a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and Global Strategic Management at MIT and Harvard Business School. Upon graduating he started working as a Product Manager at OASI and then as a Global Product Manager at Schneider Electrics. There he led several projects, including the development of product strategies to make critical energy infrastructure resilient to negative external impact. He also was in charge of development and marketing teams across North America, Europe, Australia, China, and India. This extremely valuable multicultural experience has helped him to become a skilled leader. He is able to show great empathy for his team members to create an effective and motivated team.
