Suhas Manangi is a tech security expert passionate about keeping digital identities safe. Based in Redmond, WA he's worked as a security Product Manager for some of the biggest names in tech. Product Management have long been the focus of Suhas' life. Studying in his native India, he earned a B. Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Karntaka for his work on elliptical curve cryptographicsecurity. In 2015 he started a technology and business consulting MBA from the University of Washington Bothell. He's furthered his academic interest sitting on editorial and review boards for tech-security journals and conferences. Life hasn't been all academics for Suhas, though. During his undergrad studies in he interned with Boschdeveloping software for three months. Following his degree Suhas was hired by Microsoft in May 2010. During the eight years he worked with the tech giant he held titles throughout Security Product Management departments. Among them were: Program Manager-Windows User Experience Team, Program Manager-Security and Identity, Program Manager-Core OS Security and Senior Program Manager - Identity Services Tools. In June 2018 Suhas took his near decade of experience earned at Microsoft to work for Lyft. There he serves as Identity Product Manager, a role in which he supervises a team of data scientists, engineers and tech designers. Aiming to implement systems of password-less authentication, single sign on, authentication management and customer insights Suhas hopes to scale Lyft to a platform a 100 million active users. On the other hand, Suhas is an aspiring entrepreneur. In 2016, he co-founded and served as CTO for Tag ID LLC.
