Thomas Hind

Thomas is a knowledgeable Senior Product Manager at BBC. He has impressive experience as a Product Manager across multiple services and teams in the Public and Technology Sectors. He is currently managing two key BBC products that serve tens of millions of users with billions of monthly requests. He successfully transitioned his team from a technical mindset to a product-centric one. This has created a much superior product that meets the customers' needs with flying colors. Thomas knows that in order to lead a successful product team an understanding of one's users' wants and needs is critical. In this, he has triumphed which is likely due to his superior communication skills. Before working at BBC he was a Product Manager across various parts of the UK Public Sector for many years. Thomas consistently ensured all of his teams remained user-centric through research, interviews, and analytics. He received his Master of Science in Communication and Public Engagement at The University of Edinburgh.
