Tyler Sax

Tyler is a seasoned Product professional who brings over 7 years of experience in leading successful enterprises such as Instagram, Facebook and currently Airbnb. He is a tech enthusiast with a strong passion for leading cross-functional teams in order to deliver products that users love. Tyler began his professional career as a Digital Strategist and a Web Developer in a Political Organization and a Computer Software, respectively. Today, he is driving the company’s efforts at Airbnb as a Product Manager for Search. Prior to his current position, he was progressively attaining higher Product managerial roles at Facebook, from an Analyst / Developer to a Product Manager and eventually Lead Product Manager. Moreover, during his lucrative career, he has also gained experience in Social Entrepreneurship; for over a year, Tyler held the position as a Student Managing Director at Social Innovation and Public Service Fund, where he helped build and managed the day-to-day operation of a fund, run entirely by students. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University with a double major in Computer Science and Political Economy. His main areas of expertise include software & web development, social impact assessment, and analytics. Outside of his day job routine, Tyler is also a passionate coffee brewer.
