I’m reviewing from the New York office, but I’m SO happy with the team that I wanted to make sure their praises were sung on both coasts.

Like most people here, Product School has been the perfect resource for what I’ve needed. It’s given me the skill set, the network, and the confidence I needed to make the jump from finance into tech. There were many options I could have taken – General Assembly, Flatiron, and others, but Product School was hands down the best investment I could have possibly made.

Product School was a fantastic opportunity for me to get more familiar with the PM toolkit while learning with a small but diverse class of engineers, designers, bankers, and more. Our instructor, Rayyan, brought a ton of charm and experience to the course (which lasted 3 months, every Saturday) that really brought the content to life. We weren’t just learning out of a textbook or a slide deck – we were seeing how these principles, tools, and workflows are actually applied in real startups.

Even better, our “final project” as the course went on was a cumulative buildup of all the skills and concepts we’d learned that culminated into a real product prototype we built ourselves. Each of us made our own, many as product proposals for the companies we want to work for. Now I put one together about once a month – it’s addictive.

The network in and out of the classroom is really supportive as well: 3 students from my cohort have already secured PM jobs, 1 has started his own company, and the rest of us are still in the interview process at several places. There is a Slack channel where cohorts from all campuses are helping each other out with interview advice, job tips, and sooo many Medium articles.

Product School is definitely worth the admission fee and has been one of the best investments I’ve made in my life so far. The resources, network, support, resume feedback, mock interviews and mentorship are unbeatable. I would 100% recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to get involved in product and doesn’t know where to start.
