Become a Product School Instructor

Summary:

Product School is on a mission to train professionals so they can build better products, lead effective teams, and deliver results. Since our founding in 2014, we’ve helped 15,000+ graduates do just that, but the work is far from over. More organizations than ever before are beginning to realize the value that Product Management provides to their business and customers. With an ever-increasing demand for practitioners to enter the field and standards on best practices still lagging, there is an even greater need today to provide world-class training to continue to push the industry forward. 

To help us continue our mission of accelerating the growth of the discipline, we’re looking for seasoned Product Management experts to join us as part-time Instructors to teach the next generation of Product Managers.

What you’ll do:

  • Review class materials ahead of each class you instruct to successfully deliver our curriculum to address course learning objectives 

  • Utilize your past experience in Product Management to verbally share real-world examples in conjunction with the class content you present to help drive exceptional learning outcomes

  • Orchestrate classroom discussions and activities

  • Act as a mentor to students by joining breakout sessions or responding to their Slack messages to answer their questions and provide guidance

  • Assess students’ final presentations at the end of the course to provide thoughtful and constructive feedback to help foster their growth as Product Managers

This role might be for you if:

  • You’re currently a Lead Product Manager or above and have 5+ years of industry experience

  • You’ve worked in an organization with an exceptional culture of Product Management

  • You’re an engaging communicator, who loves presenting ideas to others

  • You’re passionate about giving back to the Product Management Community

Bonus Points:

  • You’ve mentored, taught, or coached others in the past

  • You have familiarity with using Zoom as a meeting facilitation tool
