In his role as Chief Designer, Robert Brunner plays a paramount role in shaping the design direction and strategy at Beats by Dr. Dre. His innovative approach blends artistry with functionality, resulting in products that not only look stunning but also deliver an exceptional listening experience. Beyond his current position, Robert's journey in design includes co-founding Lunar Design, serving as the Director of Industrial Design at Apple Computer, and founding Ammunition LLC, a trailblazing product design and brand development group based in San Francisco, CA.

Throughout his illustrious career, colleagues and industry experts have hailed Robert Brunner as an exceptional designer who combines visionary creativity with hands-on execution. His leadership and ability to bring ideas to life have made him a standout figure in the design world. From founding the Apple ID studio to spearheading design at Pentagram and now at the helm of Beats by Dr. Dre, Robert continues to inspire and shape the future of product design and brand development.

Before founding Ammunition, Robert was a partner at Pentagram and led strategic brand consulting and industrial design programs for Fortune 500 companies.

Named one of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business,” Robert’s work is included in the permanent design collections of the MoMA in both New York and San Francisco. He is the co-author of the book “Do You Matter? How Great Design Will Make People Love Your Company.”
