Daniel is an experienced Product Management leader with 10+ years of experience building both consumer- and enterprise-focused products. Currently, he’s a Senior Product Manager at Square. Prior to his current role, Daniel was Head of Product at Fountain, where he conceptualized and drove the execution for roadmaps from inception to
launch, and built strong relationships with stakeholders from their sales, marketing, servicing, and engineering teams. Additionally, he defined the product strategy, developed and identified the key measures of success, set expectations with all relevant stakeholders, and effectively prioritized across initiatives, teams, and functions. Daniel started out his career as a Software Engineer at Lime Brokerage LLC, and notably led the project to create Lime’s first algorithmic block trading product. He then went on to gained experience as a Quantitative Systems Engineer at Thomson Reuters, analyzing financial time-series data for US equities using R, Python, and SQL, and ran backtests of new trading strategies to analyze their performance under different market regimes. Daniel’s first Product Management role was at Braintree, focusing was on core payment processing products; which included both the customer-facing APIs as well as Braintree's integrations with payment gateways and card networks (Visa, American Express, Mastercard). He’s a highly competent, talented Product Leader and is extremely knowledgeable about a scope of technical topics, including Linux systems, database management, systems management, automation, and much more.
