Fang Chen

Fang Chen is a Senior Product Manager at Disney Streaming, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. With a deep commitment to collaboration, Fang works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, data science, platform, and media delivery. Her goal is to enhance user engagement and enable subscribers to fully immerse themselves in the captivating experiences offered across the Disney+ brands.

Fang's journey in the technology industry began with her Full Stack Graduate program at Turing Society, where she underwent a comprehensive 14-week coding boot camp. Through this intensive program, Fang honed her skills in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (MySQL, PHP), collaborating on individual, pair, and group projects. Group projects, in particular, fostered the use of GitHub and the Laravel framework.

Prior to her involvement in the tech industry, Fang gained valuable experience as an Inventory Analyst intern at Tesla. During her internship, she demonstrated a strong ability to optimize stock levels by analyzing consumption rates, stock in the field, and global car inventory. Fang also focused on improving inventory accuracy through faster fulfillment, ABC analysis, and stock cycle counts. Her contributions ensured the availability of parts even amidst sudden changes in the estimated time of arrival (ETA), thanks to her application of academic knowledge in supply chain design.

Fang's educational background includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Information Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. She also embarked on an enriching exchange program at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, further expanding her knowledge of business and managerial economics. Fang holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business Administration from the same institution, actively engaging in extracurricular activities such as being a member of the B&R Beurs Investment Society and the Almanac Committee.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Fang Chen is a former table tennis professional player who proudly played with the Spanish National Team. Her dedication, adaptability, and exceptional skill set make her an invaluable asset in her current role at Disney Streaming.
