The worldwide spending on IT in the year 2019 was forecasted to reach almost $3.8 trillion, with fastest growth rated in Enterprise Software and IT services. This same report by Gartner also forecasted that for the year 2020, Enterprise Software spending world-wide would be around $466 billion.
(And that was before anyone could have even thought about all the changes that COVID-19 would bring upon us, in terms of tech dependency. But I deviate.)

That is a ridiculously large amount of money to leave on the table because investing in technology does not automatically guarantee success.
In fact, finding the right technology is but half the battle won. The other, bigger battle that you then need to focus on, is how you can make your investment pay for itself by maximizing tech adoption. Getting your entire workforce to try, use and adopt a new technological solution is no joke. But with the right strategy (and tools) in place, you can make it happen more seamlessly and swiftly.
Here are 6 ways you can ensure victory the battle of new technology adoption – increase your adoption rates, no matter how complex the application:
1. Create a buzz and don’t be subtle about it
It is rather well known that Steve Jobs was not one to shy away from hosting a grand event every time they introduced new technology at Apple. And no, ostentation was not the reason why!
It is said that he was so passionate about technology that every time a new one was introduced, it was bound to be celebrated. It is safe to say that this is one practice that must be followed by every enterprise that wishes to not only introduce but successfully leverage new technology.
