Erik Ashby

Erik has been a leader in the technology industry working as a Product Manager for over 30 years at companies like Novell, Microsoft, and now Helpshift where he is leading the product and product marketing teams to transform digital customer service with messaging, bots, and AI.
Over the years he has worked on emerging technology that has changed the industry including the early years of email with products like Novell Groupwise, Microsoft Exchange, and Outlook, then later to cloud-based SAAS-based products like Office 365. As a leader in product, he has learned the importance of creating great experiences that focus on the customer and how their needs change with the emergence of new technology.
Erik studied Business Information Systems at the University of Phoenix and BYU.
