Chris Bee

Christopher is a Technical Product Leader with over 15 years of experience in leading high-performing teams and large-scale products at ventures including Uber, Microsoft, and Amazon. He is an expert in scalable web and server applications on distributed systems who is truly passionate about people, products, and process. Chris began his career in Product as a Product Manager at Xanadoo, where he has worked with C-level at 100 person startup to launch wireless internet company in 5 markets. He describes himself as a skilled analyst and a strategic planner. His work has taken him across the US to support ventures including Uber, Microsoft, and Amazon, holding various Product and Engineer managerial positions. Today, Christopher is a Senior Director of Product Development at Zillow, leading the company’s efforts to build the best real estate shopping experience on the web. His responsibilities include managing the product and engineering teams for the company’s core shopping group. Moreover, on top of his leadership skills, he has a coding proficiency in JavaScript and Java. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Rowan University and an MBA from Drexel University. Outside of his day job routine, he is a spare-time snowboarder, runner, and a lifelong learner. Last year, he was an honoree in Drexel University's 40 under 40 last year.
