Therese started her career writing code before switching gears to founding product roles at a number of early-stage startups. At Pivotal she leads product management for teams driving Pivotal’s next-generation enterprise software on Kubernetes. Therese started her career as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft, where she was one of 10 programmers on the original Windows NT coding team including writing command line and initial device drivers, and managing team of four developers. She was in charge of improving the Windows desktop user-interface, leading a team in an intense discovery process to uncover work processes and flow, engineering new efficiencies, and managing priorities. After that, she had many experiences including founding her own business, Local Greens, a social enterprise that grew to 300 customers over three years. She developed the business plan, overseeing long-term strategy, and hired and managed a 6 people team. Therese is currently working at Pivotal, where she has been progressively attaining higher managerial positions, from a Staff Product Manager to ultimately serving as a Director of Product Management.
