Agustin is a Software Product Manager that thrives working on meaningful problems needing technology solutions and have great teams behind them. He has experience managing products built on Rails, Java, AngularJS, NodeJS, and development and cross-functional teams following agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Asana, Trello, and Rally. Currently, Agustin is a Product Manager at Google, working cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at Google speed. Prior to his current role, he was a Product Manager at Opower, where he led a cross-functional team focused on creating new experiences on top of our outbound communications to drive energy savings, customer satisfaction, program participation and other valuable outcomes for utilities. Before, Agustin was also a Product Manager for the following products: Internationalization for all user-facing products and Smart thermostats. His first experience engineering was as an Electrical Engineering Coordinator at Santa Clara University, leading the design of the off-grid photovoltaic power system for the SCU competition home. After, Agustin went on to be a Founding Engineer at Valence Energy, then, became a Project Manager at Serious Materials. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
