Akash is a highly motivated, self-starter passionate about building and launching impactful products by working cross-functionally across product, engineering, data science, marketing, finance, and design teams. He has multi-vertical experience in Internet software, eCommerce, SaaS, and ed-tech with strong skillsets across Product Management, design, and development. Currently, Akash is a Product Lead at Uber, being responsible for the product roadmap, strategy & development of Uber’s end-to-end growth & engagement for all channels (push, SMS, email, and in-app, etc.) across all Uber’s lines of businesses (Rider, Driver, UberEATS, Jump, Freight, Fleet, ATG, Groceries, etc). Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Product Manager a Facebook, where he was responsible for the product roadmap, strategy, implementation, and measurement of products for Facebook Blueprint: Educational platform for advertisers. Akash first gained experience in Product Management working at Staples. He was responsible for product vision, planning, and implementation of eCommerce assets and digital products for Staples; and drove the strategic vision, planning, and execution of Staples omnichannel experience and eCommerce solutions. Akash has great attention to detail and possesses an experimental mindset as a Product Manager, he is able to understand design ideas, communicate them effectively, translate business requirements and work with technical teams to implement them and bring them to life.
