Alyssa is a Product Manager that works with her team to build great consumer experiences, using qualitative and quantitative data and empathy. Currently, she is working on starting her own business, but previously to that, she was the Senior Product Manager at Rover, defining a strategic framework and owning a roadmap to increase pet sitter value, retention, and satisfaction on Rover. As well as succeeding as a cross-functional leader with Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, and Marketing to improve pet sitter experience and achieve strategic goals. Before working at Rover, Alyssa worked as a Product Manager at Facebook, where she built experiences and APIs for third-party developers to leverage to provide their customers with easy ways to share content back to Facebook; data analysis, user research, customer feedback, and long-term external partnerships informed the roadmap. Alyssa also built the first version of Facebook's Camera Effects Platform's Frame Studio; vision for the platform, beta testing with internal frame designers, and long-term external partnerships led to the MVP launch. She began her career in tech working at Microsoft as a Program Manager, making it easier to design better, mobile-optimized internet sites on top of SharePoint and innovating on the group collaboration experience, and reducing the cost of maintaining legacy features. Alyssa has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
