Andrew Hopp is a Senior Technical Product Manager for Search Service at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He has a passion for data and design thinking and, as a Product Manager, his experience ranges from launching new products to optimizing existing experiences. He has worked on both physical and digital customer experiences while at Amazon and is currently working on a community-driven, open-source search and analytics suite.
Before working as a Product Manager, Andrew worked as an Analyst where he analyzed data ranging from mortgage portfolios to labor trends at IBM and Nike. He now uses his experience in data analytics, machine learning, and modeling as his product superpower.
Andrew has a proven history of successfully collaborating in innovative and fast-paced environments and taking action to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends. He collaborates closely with analytics, engineering, strategy, marketing, and executive partners to grow product power and performance.
