Senior Product Manager, Amazon
Ankit is a Product Manager focused on building Amazon's equipment management platform that enables the movement of millions of Amazon packages every week in a cost-optimal manner and building merchant and buyer products for Amazon Pay.
Previously, he was a Product Manager focused on building Uber’s Risk & Identity platform, aimed at unlocking new business lines and reducing Uber’s exposure to financial, regulatory, and safety risks by ensuring that users transact with valid identities that belong to them. During his 6 years at Uber, he held a variety of roles. Ankit began as part of the Operations team responsible for driver recruitment, support, training, quality management, driver retention, device management, and vehicle financing. Then, he became an Operations Coordinator, focusing on launching and expanding Uber in India, and responsible for hiring, expansion, background checks, product launch, and risk mitigation. As the Operations and Logistics Manager, Ankit focused on launching and expanding Uber in India, his key responsibilities included hiring, product strategy, new product launch, new user acquisition, city launch, P&L management, and risk mitigation. He focused on product development for Eater and Courier products that aimed to improve the food delivery experience in all of Uber's 43 food delivery markets, and on Uber’s Fleet management products that aim to grow small/medium-sized fleets on Uber by providing businesses with fleet management solutions and improved sign up experiences.
