Anurag Viswanath

Anurag Viswanath is a former Google Product leader who most recently worked on the Google Assistant team building voice-first conversational experiences for Google’s end users. Prior to that, he was on the Hotels team where he led cross-functional teams to build products that made it easier for partners (in the Hotel ecosystem) to integrate with Google and ensure that the prices shown to users are accurate for a great booking experience. 

Prior to that, he had stints across various other product areas. For instance, on the Google Cloud/API team, he worked on a broad spectrum of efforts to improve the developer experience and enhance user trust. This ranged from building best-in-class Product API Abuse Intelligence (Maps, Photos, Youtube, Drive, etc), devising mitigation strategies for API/ OAuth misuse, tackling Cryptomining Abuse on Cloud, to building scaled solutions that reduced user risk exposure and de-risked Google Cloud platform resources. Before that, he drove complex analytical projects and Incident management operations globally for Google Maps.

Anurag graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has received a professional certificate from Stanford University in Computer Security.
