Barbara Millan

Barbara is an experienced Product Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. She is skilled in Product Management, Machine Learning, Analytical Skills, and Statistical Modelling. Over the course of 7 years, Barbara held various positions at Booking.com, she started as a Data Scientist and currently holds the position of a Product Manager of Data Science. Prior to her current role, Barbara was a Ph.D. researcher at CERN, responsible for the completion of complex analysis and parameter fitting of models over large datasets using sophisticated mathematical tools. In addition, Barbara was a United Nations panel member for the session Young Women in Science. She is a strong professional with a Ph.D. focused on Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Zurich, and a Master's degree in Particles and Astropartidles Physics from the University of Amsterdam.
