Currently, Blake Barlett is a Partner at OpenView, an expansion-stage venture firm that helps build software companies into market leaders. He is a key leader in the firm’s efforts around all things product-led growth. He personally coined the term “product-led growth” (PLG) and has crafted the key definitions and frameworks that have led
to the rise of the broader PLG movement. Prior to joining OpenView, he was a Vice President at Battery Ventures, where he focused on growth-stage software and Internet businesses. Blake joined Battery in 2009 and helped lead 10 investments, including Wayfair, Optimizely, Sprinklr, Catchpoint, Glassdoor, Tealium, Q2eBanking, Mass Relevance, and VSS Monitoring (acquired by Danaher). He began his career in the growth equity group at Kayne Anderson.
