Brian was brought in to early-stage products and challenge brands to develop value propositions through market insights, create products and services through engineering, user experience and cross-functional leadership, and execute successful product and feature launches. Currently, he’s a Product Manager at Google, overseeing Google Classroom and Google Assignment. Prior to his current role, Brian was a Senior Product Manager of Growth at Oscar Insurance. He first gained experience as Product Manager working at Microsoft, where he was responsible for product/GTM strategy for Bing Maps/Mobile and launched Bing Maps mall maps, real-time transit, and Street Slide. Additionally, Brian lead product launches by developing value propositions, product positioning, and building demo materials to increase awareness and grow adoption, and conducting user research and focus groups for product planning. He analyzed quantitative and qualitative surveys and query logs to segment the Maps market and build user personas to aid product marketing and drove Product Management and marketing for Bing Map Apps by determining investment priorities and creating go-to-market plans for new apps. Brian has a great understanding of how engineers and engineering efforts work and is a very technically knowledgable Product Manager. During the project planning process, Brian displays such a deep understanding of some technical processes and shows a strong product intuition.
