David Fullerton

David is the Vice President of Engineering at Heap. He is a leader with experience growing product & engineering from <15 to 70+. David is a believer in servant leadership culture, where managers are as responsible for coaching and developing their team as they are for delivering on projects. He is an advocate for diverse teams, cross-functional collaboration, and breaking down barriers between engineering and the rest of the org. Prior to his current role, David was a CTO at Stack Overflow where he built and led a 70+ remote engineering organization responsible for one of the largest websites in the world. He was a key leader on company strategy, culture, and product development as well as building and running the engineering org.
