Debaditya Chatterjee

Deba is an experienced Product Manager relied on Executive Management to solve complex business problems with effective technology solutions. Currently, he’s Senior Product Manager at Uber and oversees the Storage and Search department. Some of Deba’s current activities include:  Working on Product Strategy, Product Roadmap, Product Positioning, supporting Product Marketing, and working on different stages of the product life cycles from inception to launch. Prior to Uber, Deba was Head of Products at Fauna where he created a durable vision for the product and built a roadmap, prioritized product features with the best possible resources in hand, and author product requirements for various core database innovations. He began his career in tech working at Oracle, where he eventually dedicated his expertise for over 10 years in various different roles. There, Deba started as Senior Database Administrator and led the migration team in IDC, for the global single instance migration project. After a year, he transitioned to Senior Principal Consultant and worked as a Performance Architect and Technical Manager for various Oracle customers including General Electric, Google, and Dell. He then later moved to Principal System Consultant, being responsible for the performance of Oracle's Global corporate warehouse; then, as Principal Product Manager and finally up to Senior Product Manager. Deba’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Production Engineering and a Master of Science Economics in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
