Deepam Dubey is a Product Manager Lead at eBay, where he works to solve important problems using data science. In this role, he is responsible for leading a team of 30+ engineers and product managers in the development and implementation of the Identity User Platform, which enhances the safety and security of eBay's marketplace for buyers and sellers. His skills in strategy, data analysis, strategic planning, product development, and team leadership have been instrumental in guiding eBay's B2C e-commerce efforts and ensuring a customer-obsessed approach to product strategy. Through his expertise and leadership, Deepam is making significant contributions to eBay's ongoing efforts to make its marketplace safer, more secure, and more personalized for its millions of users.

Previously, Deepam spent almost eight years at Microsoft in various Product roles. He began as a Technical Product Manager then became a Product Manager, and finally a Product Lead. His efforts across different products resulted in increased product efficiency, less time spent on critical workflows, increased adoption, and lowered dev/ops efforts. He has also spent time as a Business Analyst Intern for Southwest Airlines and a Technical Consultant for IBM.

Deepam attended the Ramaiah Institute of Technology for his Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering. A few years after graduating, he went on to get his Master's in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona in one of the top 5 ranked MIS programs. He specialized in BI and analytics. He is also a Certified Scrum Master.

Deepam is a great believer in starting with "why", listening closely to his customers, and using data to drive his decisions. He is passionate about mentoring those around him and building products that impact top-line growth. Those who have had him on their team continue to be impressed by his methodical and thoughtful approach. He makes sure to ask the right questions to guarantee that his products not only solve current issues but is also able to address future needs within the organization. He is also always happy to share his vast knowledge and experience to increase the effectiveness of the entire team, making him an excellent team player.
