

Henry Tappen
Senior Product Manager, Google
Henry is a Senior Product Manager at Google who uses his strong background in economic modeling, mathematics, and computer science to create problem-solving products.
He currently working as a Product Lead for their Cloud AI Platform. His responsibilities include defining the roadmap specifically for Machine Learning modeling development, managing his team of PMs as they build features, and working with customers and across various departments to come up with and provide solutions. Before this, he worked on Google Ads as a Product Manager. Alongside a group of engineers, he took charge of their conversion tracking and defined the vision for the area. He also led efforts to keep up with compliance with GDPR and Apple's Intelligent Tracking Prevention in record time.
Earlier in his career, he was a Program Manager at Microsoft. During this time he authored the API and also designed the user experience so that a singular Windows Store app could have multiple instances on screen. Furthermore, he collaborated with other teams so that they could also have this functionality in their apps. He was also a part of improving various other programs that he helped design, coordinate, and oversee.
Henry graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Economics. Impressively, he graduated summa cum laude and was Valedictorian of the Department of Economics.
