Iba Masood

Iba is the CEO of Tara.AI, a platform she co-founded in 2018 to help today's software teams manage and deliver throughout their product development lifecycle. She also has co-founded Gradberry, a service that curates technical talent for fast-growing companies. She started out the company in the Middle East, based in Dubai, and after three years she moved herself and the company to the San Fransico area, creating Gradberry US. She and her co-founder started the platform out with just $200 and grew it to become the largest platform for students in the Middle East.

Before starting her entrepreneurial journey she was a Financial Analyst at GE. She innovated their first consolidated management pack, organized sales pitches, and was shortlisted and recommended for the Financial Management Program. She also worked as an Analyst at McKinsey & Company and a Risk Analyst Intern at the Dubai Islamic Bank.

Iba earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the American University of Sharjah, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also was a part of the Hesselbein Global Academy Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, studying International Leadership and Civic Engagement.
